Dan Jennings brings his Paul Weller fan podcast Desperately Seeking Paul to the festival. What started out as a simple idea, to talk to fellow Weller fans, has become a must-listen for superfans around the world. Dan has talked to friends, family, band mates and fans of Paul, but is still searching for the man himself.
Join Dan Jennings in conversation with comedian Ian Stone for a live recording of the podcast ahead of the Paul Weller show at Halifax Piece Hall.
About The Speaker

Dan Jennings
Host of The World’s first Paul Weller Fan Podcast. Ten years ago, Dan gave up his life’s dream and career as a radio presenter, with one big regret… Never getting to interview his hero, the legendary British musician Paul Weller.
His podcast ‘Desperately Seeking Paul’ exists purely to solve that issue… Launched in December 2020, it’ll celebrate its 100th episode this Summer. The podcast is regularly in the Top 5 Music & Music History Podcasts on Spotify and Apple, and is now part of the Sound Archive in the British Library – preserved for evermore.

About The Comedian

Ian Stone
Ian Stone is a comedian, broadcaster, podcaster and writer. His first book To Be Someone was published slap bang in the middle of a global pandemic. It’s his story of growing up in the late seventies and is part autobiography, part social history and part love letter to Paul Weller and The Jam.
