Friday Night Live @ Square Chapel is a platform for emerging and local musicians to showcase their talents and a chance for audiences to see them in our intimate Copper Auditorium before they blow up and hit the big time.

Evan Madgin brings you classic and heavy rock anthems, exceptional vocals and unreal guitar work. Singing a range of your favourite anthems from all eras of rock ‘n’ roll and some originals!

SoulGrief are an extreme Metal band from Halifax, West Yorkshire. Drawing on the themes of loss, torment and eroticism, SoulGrief condenses the universal anguish of the human condition into aural instillations. Taking influences from the 90s Norwegian black metal scene and more experimental elements from contemporary bands, they mix powerful riffs with cries of suffering to create a cathartic musical experience. Containing members from the harsh electronic act ‘Machine Wraith’ and numerous underground metal projects, the band are not strangers to live performance. For fans of Mayhem, Akercoke, My Dying Bride and Winterfylleth

Bident are a five-piece female-fronted metal band from West Yorkshire. Combining heavy instrumentals and melodic vocals to create a unique sound that you can bang your head to and sing along with.
