‘Lost at shore’ Cult comedy cabaret show Fish pie makes a welcome detour to Halifax to bring their latest high seas adventure.

Featuring some of the finest alternative acts in Yorkshire this is a cabaret of delights for those that adore character, original songs, choreography, puppetry and surrealist absurdity on a boat. A true joyful explosion to the senses.

Set across the fictional seas of Sheffield. Captain Fish fingers, and his merry crew once trawled the oceans in search of cabaret talent to take back to Simon Trowel the entertainment’s manager of Wisewood social club. However, a dark turn has befallen the Earth and all cabaret and theatre venues have closed down and the good ship Sandy clam is no more. The only hope is that a Quadruple threat can be found in the depths of the ocean but there is only one person crazy enough to risk life and limb for such a quest and he hasn’t had his lunch yet.Can Fishfingers be encouraged out of retirement? Can the Sandy Clam be found and can live theatre be saved? Find out in the latest barnstorming adventure ‘Lost at Shore’ by Fish Pie cabaret.

Fish Pie is a wonderfully eclectic mix of mayhem and talent. You never know what you’re going to get or why you’re laughing but you will, until your face hurts

Unreserved Seating – Seats are unreserved and you will need to choose your seat as you enter the venue. If you wish to sit together with people you have arrived with, we recommend arriving at doors open time to choose consecutive seats although we do not guarantee this is possible. Ushers may also ask you to move or condense your group to free up seating for other audience members to be seated.


  • You can access this space from our main entrance at the front of the building, the doors to this space are on the same level.
  • The space is usually used as our cinema and studio theatre performances.
  • This is a seated and standing space, depending on the performance.
  • There are two access seats in our Copper space.
  • To access the toilets you need to use the lift from the foyer to the ground floor where you will find our access toilet, baby changing facility and a Changing Places facility. There is also a private lift towards the back of the space where a member of staff would need to accompany you.
  • We have two parking spaces at the front of our building (just outside the Southgate entrance of The Piece Hall) and two spaces down the side of our building just off Square Road. These spaces are available for Square Chapel customers and you must book spaces in advance of your visit, and display a blue badge.
  • Booking the access parking spaces means you will enter the building from our stage door area and will need to use the lift to take you to the foyer, kitchen, bar and Copper space.
  • Blue badge holders can reserve a parking space by emailing details of the car reg, make, model, colour, name of the owner, and date of time of performance attending. Email
