Men (15)
Dir. Alex Garland. UK 2022. 100mins.
Jessie Buckley, Rory Kinnear.

In this tense and slow-burning horror, director Alex Garland (Ex Machina) turns his attention to the patriarchy in this story of Harper (Jessie Buckley), who’s in the aftermath of a personal tragedy. Retreating to the countryside to find a place to heal Harper soon realises that someone or something is stalking her. Nightmarish, surreal and Necessary, Men features a never-better Buckley and a terrific multi-faceted turn from Rory Kinnear.
