Old Time Sailors is a flashmob musical show designed to take the audience back in time through an unforgettable trip to the 19th century. Every member of the audience receives a copy of the Sunday Sailor, our own newspaper shaped program which includes the lyrics to all our songs (plus personalized postal stamps!) in order to sing along and become a Sailor for one epic night! Our crew is composed of 17 musicians playing fully unplugged to ensure the most authentic experience. We offer a 3 hour show including intermissions to relax and have dinner with friends and family.
Over 30 songs and tunes where the audience will sing and dance surrounded by drunken Sailors, witnessing an astounding show unmatched in this music genre. Everything will take place within our magnificent stage set, designed to give the audience the sensation of being inside a 19th century vessel.

Standing Only – There is no provision for seating in this venue for this event. If you are unable to comfortably stand for the duration of the show we may be able to assist with access seats. We cannot guarantee that access seats in this venue will provide a clear and uncompromised view of the stage.
- You can access this space from our main entrance at the front of the building, the doors to this space are on the same level.
- This is a seated and standing space, depending on the performance.
- There are two access seats in our Red Brick space.
- For standing events, you can request an access seat at the point of booking.
- To access the toilets you need to use the lift from the foyer to the ground floor where you will find our access toilet, baby changing facility and a Changing Places facility.
- We have two parking spaces at the front of our building (just outside the Southgate entrance of The Piece Hall) and two spaces down the side of our building just off Square Road. These spaces are available for Square Chapel customers and you must book spaces in advance of your visit, and display a blue badge.
- Booking the access parking spaces means you will enter the building from our stage door area and will need to use the lift to take you to the foyer, kitchen, bar and Red Brick space.
- Blue badge holders can reserve a parking space by emailing details of the car reg, make, model, colour, name of the owner, and date of time of performance attending. Email info@squarechapel.co.uk
