Dear customer,

We are sad to hear you have lost out on tickets/money for shows booked prior to us taking over Square Chapel.

Unfortunately, those tickets were booked with the previous owners of Square Chapel and that company sadly went into administration in March 2020, at the start of the pandemic and lockdown.

Square Chapel is now owned by the team who own The Old Courts in Wigan. They took over ownership from September 2020.

Anyone who contacted the previous owners and administration team at the time were advised to claim a charge back via your bank or credit card provider.

We do understand that not everyone was successful in doing this and even though we as new owners have been advised we don’t have a legal obligation to refund or replace tickets, we don’t like the fact that some people lost out. So as a good will gesture, we have offered customers the opportunity to complete a claim form with us since we took over. You will be sent voucher codes from our ticketing partner Quaytickets, to use on selected shows. You will receive a code for each ticket you lost. Before you can access these, Quaytickets will send you an email asking you to change your password as we are using a different provider to the last owners. Don’t worry if there’s nothing you want to see in this season, or if you don’t feel ready to attend events yet, these codes as valid for 12 months.

Please note that we are unable simply transfer your tickets to the new show booked as the contracts come with new terms and financial targets.

Although the deadline has now passed for claims with us, if you have lost out and weren’t aware of the points above, please email us info@squarechapel.co.uk by Thursday 30 September 2021, with the following and we will do our best to try and help:

*Name of the show you had tickets for

*Date of the show

* Number of tickets

*Proof of purchase (the ticket/e-ticket is fine)
