Jubb’s comedy club was created in loving memory of our bar manager’s cat who sadly passed away recently. To cheer her up, we decided to bring the hottest comedy talent on the scene today to Square Chapel, including some well-known faces as well as stars of the future! Each show will host a range of comedy styles from professional comics regularly playing clubs across the UK, some of whom are familiar faces on TV.

*In association with Cat & Stick Comedy

Headline Act:
Jed Salisbury – hailing from Hull, he has provided Tour Support for Tom Stade, Simon Brodkin, Gary Meikle, Hayley Ellis, Lloyd Griffith, Elvis Dead, Mick Miller & Stan Boardman. Some of his awards include ‘Best in Class – Dave’s Spirit of the fringe 2022’ – ‘Giggles Live Improv Champion 2015’ – ‘Funny Scunny, Scunthorpe comedian of the year 2014’.
“Jed is one of the most naturally funny comics I’ve worked with. I’ve literally never seen him not smash a room, lovable, relatable and downright hilarious” – Gary Meikle
Opening Act:
Al Stevenson – a Geordie LGBT+ comedian, Beat The Frog World Series Finalist. Felt Nout New Act Of The Year Finalist. “Al Stevenson combines the blunt double-entendres of Julian Clary with the bored, world-weariness of Jo Brand.” – Chortle
